Whitney Handrich (she/her)

I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and Licensed Massage Therapist with a focus on supporting growing families. Growing up as a Korean adoptee and later reuniting with my birth family inspired me to work with families - holding positive healing spaces and building supportive community bonds among parents and children.

With decades of experience in childcare and as a professional nanny, I taught kids and family yoga and eventually trained as a Prenatal Yoga teacher. I came to realize that support was lacking for parents during the postpartum period, and becoming a doula was a natural progression.

As a doula, I meet families where they are with empathetic and non-judging support, while building confidence as parents and connecting with resources and community. With a background in yoga and bodywork, I can offer parents additional suggestions to help take care of themselves, as well as supportive bodywork for infants and older siblings. I believe in the power of nurturing presence and hope to help families thrive in the 4th trimester and beyond.

Whitney was such a valuable part of our postpartum experience. She helped us not only to learn everything there is to know about a newborn, she helped us to find the confidence to know that we are great parents! And she provided much needed sleep support when my husband and I were struggling with nights. Can’t recommend her enough!
